a few times when I answered want ads that said "laundry routeman no
experience necessary", they told me that they don't hire anybody to be
a laundry routeman unless he's married(I presume that a number of women
who are home alone when her or her family's laundry is delivered must
have had problems with routemen who are single, but there's no
guarantee that a married laundry routeman won't try to 'pick up" women
who are home alone, but that was something I couldn't control. I'm glad
I'm not trying to look for a job as a laundry routeman at the present
time(when I answered want ads about that kind of job, that was my
father's idea. I was still living with my parents at that time).
